NEXT LEVEL HUMAN® CERTIFIED COACH

The patterns you can't break aren't about discipline. They're about the layer discipline can't reach.

Most coaching works at the behavior layer. Most therapy works at the symptom layer. What governs both is the identity layer — the subconscious operating system that decides what's safe, what's "you," and what gets quietly rejected no matter what you consciously want. That's where I work.

Work with JadeLearn the method

WHAT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING

The performance is working. That's the problem.

You've been managing the same issue for years. Sometimes decades. The specific form changes — the weight, the relationship, the career, the money. The root doesn't.

You've read the books. The books didn't read you. You have sophisticated language for your patterns and no leverage on them.

You suspect the problem isn't in the domain where the symptom shows up. The weight isn't really about the weight. The money isn't really about the money. You don't know what it's actually about yet.

People close to you don't see what's underneath because you've gotten skilled at not showing it. You're not sure you could show it even if you wanted to.

Something in you knows the next layer of work isn't more information. It's something structural. You haven't found where that work lives.

WHY THE USUAL FIXES DON'T HOLD

You've already tried the obvious things. Here's why they didn't hold.

More information — another framework, another modality, another book — has already failed you. The problem was never that you didn't understand enough. It was that understanding doesn't live at the layer where change happens.

Therapy works at the symptom and history level, and that work is real and valuable. It's not the same as identity-level work. If you've been in therapy for years and the pattern is still running, therapy didn't fail — it just wasn't designed to work where the pattern lives.

Conventional coaching works at the behavior level. Habits, accountability, action plans. Useful when identity is already stable. It collapses when identity is still running an old story. Your will pulls one way; your identity pulls another. The identity wins, every time, eventually.

Willpower has a ceiling that every serious person eventually hits. You're not there because you didn't try hard enough. You're there because trying hard is the wrong tool for this layer.

WHY I DO THIS WORK

How I came to this

I spent twenty years watching clients do everything right and get the same wrong outcomes. They changed the diet. They left the relationship. They took the better job. They did the therapy. The specific symptom would shift for a while. The underlying pattern would reassemble in a new form, in a new domain, within months. At some point the exceptions stopped being exceptions. I stopped being interested in helping people manage symptoms and started being interested in what was generating them across every area of their lives simultaneously.

HOW THE WORK MOVES

Three layers, in order. Skipping one is why most approaches stall.

There's a sequence that matters. Find the subconscious story — the Misguided Unconscious Decision underneath the pattern. Release the emotional charge that keeps the story locked in place. Then retrain the nervous system, hormones, and behavior around the new configuration. Most approaches do one of these well and assume the others will follow. They don't. The composition is written first. The performance comes later.

STEP 01

Rewrite — Locate the story you're actually living inside.

Target: Identity / MUD (the subconscious story)

The story was written in a room you've long since left. The problem is you're still performing what the story called for. This step isn't affirmations. It isn't replacing negative self-talk with positive self-talk. It's the careful, specific work of finding the Misguided Unconscious Decision — usually formed early, before you had the cognitive equipment to evaluate it — that your whole adult system is still optimizing for, and using memory reconsolidation to rewrite it. When an existing memory gets reactivated and the system encounters sensory experience that contradicts what it expected, the memory becomes labile. Updatable. That's the window where real change happens. That's what this step is engineered to produce.

Locate the operating sentence

Name the Misguided Unconscious Decision precisely

Draft the replacement language — integration, not erasure

You can't change a story you haven't said out loud.

STEP 02

Target: Emotional charge / Gate layer (the climate, not the storm)

A story without its emotional charge is just a sentence. A story with its emotional charge is an identity. The Rewire step releases that charge — what I call the REBAR, the remembered emotional-and-behavioral reinforcement that hardens the subconscious decision into rigid identity structure. And it works at a specific layer: what NLH calls the Gate. The Gate is where emotions are composed, not just where they're performed. Your nervous system performs the composition. It didn't write it. Most somatic work targets the performance. We work upstream — where the composition lives — so the climate shifts, not just the weather.

Locate where the charge actually lives

Release the climate that keeps the MUD rigid

Compose at the Gate, not at the surface

Emotions are weather. Emotional tone is climate. We work the climate.

STEP 03

Target: Nervous system + biology + behavior (NAL — Neuro, Adrenal, Lymphatic)

Identity shifts without embodied practice collapse under real-world pressure. Every time. The nervous system, hormonal response, immune function, and behavioral patterns — what NLH calls the NAL layers, Neuro, Adrenal, Lymphatic — follow identity, but only when the new identity gets practiced into them through consistent lived repetition. The Retrain step builds the specific, daily architecture — sleep, movement, attention, relational pattern — that lets the new configuration become the body's default instead of its effort. This is where most programs start. It's the last step, not the first. Retrain on top of an old identity is willpower. Retrain on top of a genuinely updated identity is just practice.

Encode through lived repetition

Let nervous system, hormones, and behavior reorganize around the new identity

Build the architecture that makes the pattern the default

Biology follows identity. Build the repetitions that let it.

THE SEQUENCE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

WHAT A SESSION ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

What a session looks like.

01 Open with the specific question you came with. Not a broad check-in — we know why we're here, let's go.

Open with the specific question you came with.

Not a broad check-in — we know why we're here, let's go.

02 Go deep on the one thing. Single session means all the time we have goes into the specific piece of work you identified. No setup, no unpacking of general context, no 'let's get to know each other first.'

03 Work the layer the question actually lives at. I'll move between cognitive, somatic, and reconsolidation approaches based on what the question needs. You don't have to know which layer it's living at — that's part of what I'm for.

Whether that's a specific practice, a reframe to sit with, or a recommendation to do further work with me or with someone else. You leave with clarity about where this goes next.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

If three of these land, you're in the right place.

You're functioning at a high level externally and eroding internally in a way no one around you can see. You've gotten expert at the performance. The expertise has become part of the problem.

You've done meaningful inner work before — therapy, plant medicine, retreats, coaching — and it left you with a ceiling you can feel but can't get past. The first layer of work gave you language. The language hasn't produced leverage.

You're not in acute crisis. You're in the slow-burn version, which is harder to justify taking seriously. You don't get sympathy for this one. You have to decide on your own that it matters.

You suspect the next layer isn't more insight. It's something more structural. You don't quite know what structural means yet — but you know insight isn't it.

You want someone who will hold real ground with you. Not validate everything. Not rescue you out of the hard part. Not perform understanding when actual work is what's needed.

THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF

You need a clinical therapist. This isn't therapy. If you're in acute crisis, processing unintegrated trauma, or navigating untreated mental health conditions, you need therapy first, and I'll help you find the right referral.

You want quick wins, hacks, or productivity optimization layered on top of the existing pattern. That's not the work here. I'd be lying if I pretended it was.

You want to be told what to do. This is collaborative. I'll push back when I think you're avoiding the actual edge. I'll expect you to push back when I'm wrong. If you want a compliance relationship, this isn't it.

You're here to prove that nothing will work for you. The work requires a minimum of good faith. If that's not present yet, come back when it is — no judgment either way.

WHAT YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING

Before you decide, here's what usually comes up.

How is this different from coaching I've done before?

Most coaching works at the behavior layer. Accountability, habits, action plans. Useful, until your identity pulls you back to baseline. This works at the identity layer — the subconscious structures that decide what your behaviors are allowed to become. Different target. Different tools. Different results, for people who've already hit the ceiling of behavior-level work.

I already know my patterns. Why would more awareness help?

It wouldn't. Awareness isn't the point. The point is rewriting the subconscious story underneath the awareness, releasing the emotional charge that locks it in place, and encoding a new pattern in the body. You can be extremely self-aware and still stuck. In fact, most of my clients are. The work starts where awareness ends.

This sounds like therapy.

It's not, though I understand why it sounds close. Therapy works at the symptom and history level — genuinely important work. This works at the identity and mechanism level — the architecture generating the symptoms in the first place. We can talk through the distinction and you can decide whether it matters to you.

How do I know if I'm ready?

You're ready if you're tired of the same pattern showing up in new forms and you're willing to work at the layer where the pattern actually lives. You're not ready if you're looking for permission, a quick fix, or someone to cosign your current strategy. There's no judgment in either answer. The wrong timing produces bad work.

THE CONTAINER

The shape of the work.

One-to-one engagement, paced for how change actually consolidates. Each session builds on the last. Between-session integration is part of the work, not homework. The container is sized to the specific work we're doing — we don't stretch it longer than needed, and we don't compress it into something it can't be. You'll know what we're doing and why at every stage.

NEXT STEP

Book a session

One conversation. Whether or not we end up working together, you'll walk away with a clearer read on what's actually in your way — and at least one specific thing to do about it. Both of those are yours to keep. The call is free. The clarity isn't, but it's yours either way.

READY TO ENTER

You've read this far. The work starts when you decide it does.

No call required. No application. If what I've described is the work you're ready to do, enroll and we'll begin. If you have questions, reach out — but you don't need permission to start.

STORIES FROM THE NEXT LEVEL HUMAN WORK

Unprocessed grief and guidance After I watched the replay of compound coaching I decided to do a DEEP session on any unresolved grief. Grief came and held my hand. I expected to see my late parents. Instead my great-grandmother Maggie appeared out of a purple light. As a child and young adult I followed her around the farm and learned so much from her. She was my role model as a strong woman who knew how to nurture her garden, orchard and her family. I felt so much love and joy in my heart. She told me how happy she was that I stayed so connected to the earth all while working full-time and caring for my family. Plus she reminded me that I soon will have a new daughter-in-law living nearby to help me with my dream. She was also so amused by all of the colorful stories I told my family over the years about walking in her apple orchard and eating her famous cherry pies. Plus she was extremely proud that I learned how to garden, grow apples, and can and freeze food we have grown. She reminded me of my purpose to be connected to the earth and to teach others to grow and preserve food. She promised that I would receive strength and guidance to continue on this path. I was moved to tears because I was so blessed to know her and learn from her. I felt so peaceful and thankful for this incredible vision. Grief was still there at the end but seemed lighter and was mostly replaced with gratitude for my life. I think my purpose is becoming clear. Bring on retirement.
